NYC STANYS Virtual Event with Flinn Scientific

Join STANYS NYC section leadership on Tuesday 3/22/22 from 7:00pm to 8:00pm for a virtual event including professional learning and networking with your fellow science educators.

We will engage in a short session entitled “Digital and Hands-On Solutions to Engage your Students in Science” with Dr. Jonathan Medina Ramos from Flinn Scientific and explore how to implement their hands-on kits and digital content in middle school and high school science classrooms. Flinn Scientific has solutions for chemistry, biology, physics, earth science, and environmental science learning for all classrooms, including Advanced Placement courses. All participants will receive access to a digital content trial.

Also, come learn about a pilot program (Pavo) for science teachers in which you can gain access to online curriculum resources as well as a hands-on kit and receive training from Flinn Scientific.

Afterwards, there is time to ask questions, connect, network, and share resources with Dr. Medina Ramos and other NYC science educators hosted by Heather Page and Marco Daniel Machado.

This event is FREE and open to all STANYS members. Please invite your colleagues and other science education friends who are not yet members of STANYS.
