LOG IN/OUT
Join STANYS NYC Section leadership on Tuesday 11/23/21 from 7:00pm to 8:00pm for a virtual event including professional learning and networking with your fellow science educators.
We will engage in a short session exploring K-12 education programs available with the “Wild Bird Fund” with Michelle Ashkin and Camille Licate. The Wild Bird Fund is NYC's only wildlife rehabilitation center, caring for orphaned, injured, and ill animals 7 days a week.
Learn more about classroom visits, in-clinic visits, bird walks, biodiversity walks, and yearlong teacher programs in New York City. Education programs can be tailored to focus on topics such as evolution, adaptation, climate change, biodiversity, life cycles, and more.
Afterwards, join a breakout room of your choice to connect, network and share resources with other NYC science educators hosted by Heather Page and Anna Skorupa.
