Introduction to Playground Physics - Middle School Science/Technology App and Curriculum

"SPRING SESSION" of STANYS Professional Learning!

Participants will be provided with an introduction to the app and curriculum for Playground Physics. This was developed by the New York Hall of Science in conjunction with the New York State Association for Computers and Technologies in Education and the American Institutes for Research in order to provide teachers with the opportunity to teach physics content using embodied learning to enhance student engagement. This approach to student engagement will boat student learning and retention of their content knowledge.
