AMS DataStreme Courses Fall 2019 and Spring 2020- Online

The American Meterological Society DataStreme courses are conducted primarily online through a collaboration between AMS, California University of Pennsylvania, and a national network of peer-trainers.

The courses are directed toward middle-school teachers, but open to all K-12 teachers. 

  • DataStreme Atmosphere focuses on the study of the atmospheric environment, 
  • DataStreme Ocean explores the ocean in the Earth system, and 
  • DataStreme Earth's Climate System (ECS) incorporates inquiry-based instructional strategies and a holistic concept of Earth from oceanic, atmospheric and terrestrial climate and problem-focused perspectives.
